Your driver will transfer you from your hotel in Xi'an to the Train Station. Take the morning train to Beijing (5 hours.) Upon arrival, meet your friendly local tour guide and hop aboard your air-conditioned vehicle. Heading directly to Tian'anmen Square. Enjoy a local lunch in the nearby restaurant. After that, you will continue to explore one of the world’s largest public areas—Tiananmen Square, home to the National Museum of China, the mausoleum of Mao Zedong and the great Monument to the Peoples’ Heroes.

From Tian'anmen Square you will pass through the South gate to the magnificent Forbidden City - a 250-acre complex of courtyards, palaces, pavilions and gardens, which served as the imperial palace for emperors and their households for more than 500 years. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987.

Later, you will stroll along the Hutong allay to discover the life style of the locals. Visit the Drum and Bell Tower from outside Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing. (Please book your own hotel in Beijing in advance) if you choose to finish your tour in Beijing. If you choose to end your tour in Xi'an, your tour guide will drop you off at Beijing West Railway station, your driver in Xi'an will bring you back to your hotel in Xi'an

You driver and tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at 8am and take you to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. It's is a bit more rugged and slightly less crowded than more famous Badaling section of the Wall. Over 96% of Mutianyu is covered with trees and orchards. Once arrive at the The Mutianyu Great Wall, you’ll enjoy a less hurried experience and take time to marvel at this wondrous structure and the surrounding hillsides. Hiking up and down for about 1.5 hours at the various sections of the Wall, exploring the watch and beacon towers.

Then you will stop at local restaurant for lunch. After lunch you will continue to the well-preserved royal garden, the Summer Palace. World-renowned for its beautiful landscape and spectacular architecture the Summer Palace is listed as the World Heritage Site and considered as one of the most classical gardens in the world. After the Summer Palace you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing(if you choose to end your tour in Beijing). If you choose to travel back to Xi'an, your tour guide will drop you off at Xi'an Railway Station, your driver in Xi'an will transfer you back to your hotel in Xi'an.
