In the morning, visit the Palace of the Parliament, the largest administrative building in Europe and the second largest in the World after the Pentagon building in the USA.

You depart for Sibiu passing through the breathtaking Olt Valley and visit the medieval orthodox monastery Cozia.

At noon you arrive in Sibiu, one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Eastern Europe. In 2007 Sibiu was celebrated as European Capital of Culture and in 2019 was center of the Region of European Gastronomy. Enjoy a pleasant walking tour through the Old Town and visit the Small and the Grand Square, the Liar’s Bridge, the Huet Square and the Lutheran Church. In the evening discover the second largest Museum of Icons on Glass in the World and you may enjoy a delicious traditional dinner at the locals from the small and idyllic mountain village Sibiel. This morning, enjoy a scenic ride on the spectacular country roads of Transylvania and get to see the small Saxon villages with colorful houses and fortified churches. Stop in Medias for an interesting visit at the St. Margaret Church with its inclined tower.

Continue towards Biertan, where you will visit the largest church castle in Transylvania and an important UNESCO World Heritage Site.

arrive in Sighisoara, another medieval citadel listed by UNESCO as World Heritage site. During the guided tour you will visit the town’s landmark, the Clock Tower, the Church on the Hill and the birth house of count Dracula.

Start the day with the city tour of Brasov, which is known as “The Heart of Transylvania”. This 800-year-old towns has preserved almost intact its Old Town and the medieval atmosphere. Visit the Black Church, the largest gothic construction of its kind between Istanbul and Vienna.

Visit the famous Dracula Castle from Bran. The castle was built by the German Saxons in the 14th century and represents today the main attraction of Romania.

Visit this morning the elegant Peles Castle, built at the end of the 19th century as summer residence for the Romanian Royal Family. This was the most modern castle of its time with elevators, central heating and electricity. Inside the castle you will find lots of original paintings of the Austrian painter Gustav Klimt.

Head South towards sunny Dobrogea and overnight in Tulcea, the “Gate of the Danube Delta”.

Embark this morning on the excursion boat which will take you in the heart of Europe’s best preserved natural habitat. The Danube Delta is included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list since 1990, being one of the wildest areas of Europe. It is the sanctuary for more than 300 species of birds, being the major migration hub for thousands of birds heading from and to Mongolia, Siberia, India, Africa and China. Learn more about the formation of the Danube Delta and about the many bird and fish species living here. Enjoy the nature and a delicious typical lunch. Enjoy a scenic ride to Constanta, the largest harbor of the Black Sea and one of the oldest cities in Eastern Europe. The guided tour starts at the ancient Ovidiu Square.

Visit the Archeological Museum with its outstanding collections of ancient statues and jewels.

Continue with the Roman Mosaic, the largest of its kind in Eastern Europe, and with the Orthodox Cathedral St. Peter and Paul. Enjoy some free time at the beach in Mamaia, the finest resort of the Romanian Black Sea Coast and then head North to Bucharest.
