At 8am, you will be picked up from your hotel in Lijiang, then take 2.5-hour car ride(160km) to Dali. Arrive in Dali Ancient Town, a charming historical hub known for its traditional Bai architecture, lively markets, and cobblestone streets. Stroll through its vibrant alleys and soak in the laid-back atmosphere. You will also visit the iconic Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, one of China's best-preserved Buddhist complexes. Marvel at the 1,200-year-old main pagoda (Qianxun Pagoda), standing 69 meters tall, flanked by two smaller, intricately designed pagodas. Enjoy a delicious local Bai cuisine lunch at a traditional restaurant. After lunch, you will take a leisurely walk or bike along the shores of Erhai Lake, one of Yunnan's largest alpine lakes, with stunning mountain reflections. Later, you will be transferred back to your Lijiang hotel where the day tour ends.
