The Peles castle was built by the first King of Romania, Carol I of Hohenzollern – Sigmaringen, between 1873 and 1914. It is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains. I will have the honor to present you all romanian Hohenzollern kings and queens.

Rasnov Foretress, in German: Rosenauer Burg, is a medieval Fliehburg-type fortress XIII century, which offered refuge for townspeople and villagers from the area in times of war. It is situated in Râșnov, Brașov County, not far from Brașov. All 7 Transylvania fortress were established by Saxons in the time of Hungarian occupation.
