Shanggang Mart: Our journey begins with the largest traditional market in Pudong, Shanggang Mart. A Shanghainese’s daily life begins in a traditional market like this. Highlight: This is one of the largest vegetable markets in Shanghai. You can find fresh vegetables, fruits, various meats, fish, and a variety of snacks here. The market is bustling and offers a great opportunity to experience local life.

Sangangli: We will take 10 minutes walk to this place. This is a local community commercial street filled with local flavor. Here, we will enjoy Shanghai's famous breakfast snack, Shengjianbao (pan-fried buns). Also we will try the tea drink from BaWang ChaJee, which combines traditional flavors with creative twists.

The River Mall Shopping Mall We will take 10-minute walk the the mall. Highlight: it used to be the pavilion of the 2010 Shanghai Expo, it is now one of Shanghai’s largest shopping centers. Here, you can experience the modern shopping scene and observe the shopping habits of local residents.

China Art Museum Highlight: Once the China Pavilion during the Expo, it is now Shanghai’s art museum. It showcases a rich collection of art and exhibitions, providing a great place to appreciate both Chinese and international art.

Mercedes-Benz Arena Highlight: This futuristic building, resembling a spaceship, is an indoor sports arena that frequently hosts concerts and sporting events. Its unique architectural style is impressive from the outside.

World Expo Park-Guanjiang Tiaotai(Brief Visit) Highlight: Along the Huangpu River, you can enjoy views of the Pudong area and see the Luwan Bridge and Nanpu Bridge. This is a perfect spot for taking in the cityscape and capturing stunning photos of Shanghai.

Bund Riverside Cycling (Approx. 20 minutes) Highlight: The Bund Riverside is a popular route for both locals and visitors to cycle and stroll. Along the way, you can observe many locals engaged in activities like camping, practicing Tai Chi and exercising.

World Expo Cultural Park Highlight: This is the largest riverside parkland and new landmark in downtown Shanghai, featuring the world’s first artificial mountain—Twin Peaks. The park retains four of the Expo’s original pavilions and has added new attractions such as the Shenyuan Garden, Shanghai Grand Theatre, and Shanghai International Equestrian Center. Don’t miss visiting Shenyuan Garden, which showcases traditional Chinese garden design.
