At 8am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Lanzhou hotel, then take 2-hour car ride to Linxia where you will take a speed boat to go across Liujiaxia Reservoir on the Yellow River to visit Bingling Temple Grottoes that was constructed from the 3rd century with amazing statues and frescos. Meanwhile the Grottoes are located beside imposing Stone Forest of the Yellow River. You will stay here about 2 hours, then take speed boat back to your vehicle. Later, you will be take 1.5-hour ride to Xiahe, Labrang in Tibetan language. Wander around the Tibetan town this afternoon.

Labrang Monastery was founded in 1709 by the first Jamyang Shêpa, Ngawang Tsondru. It is Tibetan Buddhism's most important monastery town outside the Tibetan Autonomous Region. There are hundreds of lamas studying in the monastery. You will walk along the monastery with your guide, and visit the most import temples here in the morning. After lunch, you will take 4-hour ride back to Lanzhou where the tour concludes.
