In the morning, your guide will be waiting for you at the hotel lobby, then drive to Tian'anmen Square

Walk around the Tiananmen Square. You will see Tiananmen(known as the Heavenly peace gate), National Congress, National Museum, Mao's mausoleum and etc.

Enclosed by 3.5km of citadel walls at the very heart of Beijing, the Unesco-listed Forbidden City is China’s largest and best-preserved collection of ancient buildings – large enough to comfortably absorb the 16 million visitors it receives each year. Steeped in stultifying ritual, this otherworldly palace was the reclusive home to two dynasties of imperial rule, sharing 900-plus buildings with a retinue of eunuchs, servants and concubines, until the Republic overthrew the last Qing emperor in 1911.

Drive from Forbidden City to Mutianyu Great Wall. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours.

Famed for its Ming-era guard towers and excellent views, the 3km-long section of wall at Mutianyu, northeast of Beijing in Huairou County, is largely a Ming dynasty structure that was built upon an earlier Northern Qi dynasty edifice, and restored in the 1980s. Considered the ideal introduction for the Great Wall newbie, it's easy to reach from the city, less crowded than Badaling, and is well set up for families.

Your tour ends in the late afternoon with drop-off at your hotel.
