Our first stop will be in Cachiviro on the shores of Lake San Pablo, where we will taste the traditional and delicious cakes and cheese accompanied by a good coffee and the best landscape we can imagine next to the Imbabura volcano.

We continue with the visit to the Peguche waterfall, where we will have a walk of about an hour through the path that leads to this attractive.

Finally we will visit the ponchos market in the city of Otavalo, this place has become a concentrating square of Ecuador’s artisan offer, it is recognized as the largest indigenous fair in South America, where more than three thousand artisans offer their products, in this place we will have adequate time to tour every corner and buy the products that are to our liking. Before returning to Quito we will taste a typical lunch of the place. The service is private and all tours are with a tour professional who is also a certified guide.

We will leave Quito early in the morning and in less than two hours we can enjoy the biodiversity of Mindo, taste a typical and traditional breakfast and then continue with the visit of the Mindo butterflies, where we will learn more about these insects and their importance in the environment.

Our second stop will be the sanctuary of the waterfalls where we will trek for just over two hours through the cloud forest of Mindo where we can enjoy the nature and beauty of its waterfalls with crystal clear water, perfect for swimming for a moment and cooling in its waters.

Finally we will visit the Quetzal chocolate tour, where we will see more closely what is the process of this delicacy from the raw material cocoa to chocolate and some of its derivatives. A delicious experience.

Returning from Mindo, to Quito we will stop at the Intiñan Museum.

This beautiful lagoon sits in the crater of the volcano of the same name, in the Chugchilan mountain range; its waters are characterized by strong mineralization that prevents ichthyological and ornithological life . Our adventure will start very early in the morning, as our destination is almost three hours from the capital, throughout the trip we will enjoy beautiful landscapes until we reach our starting point, which is the viewpoint of the lagoon, in this place we will start the descent for approximately 45 minutes, to reach its banks, throughout the journey we will observe the wonderful Andean landscape that surrounds the lagoon, once on the shore it is optional to perform the canoeing activity (kayak). After taking the necessary time we will start the return of approximately two hours, with due precautions that the ascent implies. We will continue our tour to Baños.

Before arriving at the lagoon of Quilotoa we will visit the art gallery of the famous painter of Tigua Julio Toaquiza.

We will visit the tree house where the famous end of the world swing is located, here we will enjoy the beautiful landscape and take the best photos.

We will start the day at 9am rafting on the Pastaza River with specialized guides and a pre-activity introduction, finally lunch with the group and return to the city of Baños around 3:00pm. In the evening we will get to know some of the nightlife of Baños (optional).

Our next stop will be the famous Devil’s Pailon waterfall, where we will hike approximately 2 hours (round trip) until we reach its majestic waterfall, once the activity is over we will return to Baños to enjoy lunch and return to Quito.

The Papallacta resort is located 65km from the city of Quito, along the way we will make some stops to observe the Andean landscape and take several photographs of the sector, this road crosses a wide plain surrounded by Polylepis mountain ranges and forests, when arriving at our destination we can enter the Spa to relax, where we will be several hours enjoying its medicinal waters amid the mountains and nature. Before returning to Quito we will make a stop to enjoy the typical cuisine of the place, with local people who will offer us a delicious chicken or trout broth in its different forms of preparation, in this place we also have the option of fishing our own trout, a different experience.
