Xintiandi is a tourist attraction that preserves the historical and cultural features of Shanghai and integrates Chinese and western culture. Xintiandi is divided into northern and southern parts. The south is dominated by modern architecture. The north is dominated by Shikumen old buildings. Composed of Shikumen and modern architectural style, now it has become a hot and fashionable pedestrian street in the center of the city. Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai. This 468 meters (1,536 feet) high tower is the world's sixth and China's second tallest TV and radio tower. However, even more alluring than its height is the unique architectural design that makes Oriental Pearl Tower one of the most attractive places anywhere. You will visit the Municipal History Museum which is located in the tower's pedestal. You can travel up and down the Oriental Pearl Tower in double-decker elevators that can hold up to fifty people at the rate of seven meters per second. The elevator attendants recite an introduction to the TV Tower in English and Chinese during the rapid 1/4-mile ascent. The view of the city from this height fills you with wonder at the beauty that surrounds you.

The Huangpu River divides two iconic but different Shanghai sights: high modern buildings in the Pudong area, and 26 various buildings of different architectural styles on the west side. At nightfall, you will take a one-hour cruise along the Huangpu River to enjoy the light show and beautiful night scenery on both sides of the river including the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Jin Mao Tower.
