Why Travelers Love This
"Get ready for an incredibly moving and historically deep journey as we visit Robben Island. This is not just a sightseeing excursion; it is an immersion in an essential chapter of South African history, a lasting testimony. As we sail through Table Bay, the iconic silhouette of Table Mountain will offer a breathtaking background, a stark contrast to the austere and poignant reality of the island. Approaching Robben Island, you will feel a sense of anticipation, knowing that this seemingly tranquil place was once a maximum security prison, holding some of the most important figures in the struggle against apartheid, including the legendary Nelson Mandela. Get ready for a stimulating and deeply rewarding visit, a journey to the heart of South Africa's history that will leave a lasting and profound impression."
