Penguin colony is found at Boulders Beach, just outside Simon’s Town, about 40 km south of Cape Town along the False Bay coast. About the Penguins: These are African Penguins (sometimes called jackass penguins because of their donkey-like bray). They are an endangered species – fewer than 20,000 breeding pairs are left in the wild. The colony at Boulders began in 1983 when a few pairs settled between the granite boulders; today, it has grown into one of the most famous colonies in South Africa.

Cape Point has been a maritime landmark for centuries, guiding ships along the treacherous southern Cape coast. Historically, the area was known for numerous shipwrecks due to hidden rocks and strong currents. this is where is two currents of two Oceans meet.

chap man's peak Stretching along the western coast of the Cape Peninsula, Chapman’s Peak Drive connects Hout Bay to Noordhoek, just south of Cape Town. Approximately 9 km (5.5 miles) long, it hugs steep cliffs that plunge dramatically into the Atlantic Ocean.
