The Castle acted as local headquarters for the South African Army in the Western Cape, and today houses the Castle Military Museum and ceremonial facilities for the traditional Cape Regiments.

Bo-kaap is a neigbourhood in Cape Town,since 1834 which marked the end of slavery in the cape colony.it's a daytime destination on hillside it's known for its narrow cobbled streets lined with colourful houses.
