Murals, Thangkas, and Buddha statues are concentrated expressions of Tibetan culture.

After lunch, visit the Jokhang Temple, the earliest Buddhist temple built in the Tubo Dynasty. The temple enshrines the twelve-year-old life-size statue of Sakyamuni who accompanied Princess Wencheng to Tibet. It is the most sacred and spiritual Buddha statue in the hearts of Tibetan people.

In the morning, drive via Lazi to Xiegel, the county seat of Xindingri. Along the way you will climb over the Gyatso La Snow Mountain, which is 5,220 meters above sea level.
