Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 08:30 a.m.. Then, transfer to Zhujiajiao and start the highlight tour. Also known as the ‘Venice of Shanghai,’ Zhujiajiao is the best preserved of the four ancient water towns in the Shanghai area. With a history dating back over 1,700 years, Zhujiajiao is full of lovely canals and waterways, small alleys, picturesque bridges, and ancient buildings, many from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The best way to explore Zhujiajiao is on foot and by boat. We will stroll through 1,700 years of history on a leisurely boat tour of this delightful water town. Then, We will visit landmarks including Kezhi Garden, the Qing-period post office, the City God Temple and Yuanjin Temple. Zhujiajiao post office is the earliest post office in east China, which is the only well-preserved Qing dynasty post office in east China. At noon, we will enjoy local specialty for lunch. After lunch, you will eturn back to Shanghai Downtown and visit Jade Buddha Temple.

Visit to see the site's two beautiful jade Buddhas as well as the vast collection of statues, relics, and art. Although the history of the Jade Buddha Temple is not very long, the old-time and classical architectural style makes it unique and inimitable in this modern city. The Jade Buddha Temple is a good place to go whether you are a Buddhist or not, the peaceful and transcendent atmosphere adds a kind of richness to our busy modern society. Then, you will transfer to the Bund and admire the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles along the Bund.

The Bund is a famous waterfront on the west bank of Huangpu River and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction. We will see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles at the Bund. Such as Peace Hotel, Shanghai Customs House and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.

The Huangpu River divides two iconic but different Shanghai sights: modern skyscrapers in the Pudong area and 26 various buildings of different architectural styles on the west side. We will take a one-hour cruise along the Huangpu River to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river including the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Jin Mao Tower. Afterwards, enjoy comfortable transfer back to your hotel. Wrap your memories and say good-bye in your hotel.
