Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 09:00 a.m.. Then, transfer to Longhua Temple and start the highlight tour. Longhua Temple is the oldest temple in Shanghai for its long history of over 1,700 years. The visitor here having marveled at the city's modern architecture and historical sites. Besides its long history, Longhua Temple is the largest temple in Shanghai. It occupies an area of over 20,000 square meters (five acres) and the architectural proportion is about 5,000 square meters (1.2 acres). The whole courtyard was built strictly in the style of traditional Buddhist symmetry and it's in accordance with the Chinese concept of beauty. Then, you will transfer to Shanghai Zoo and closely watch lovely Giant Pandas.

Shanghai Zoo is a large-scale state-level zoo. There are more than 400 species of animals, such as giant pandas, golden monkeys, South China tigers, Manchurian tigers, Yangtze alligators, elks, but also animals from all over the world, such as giraffe, kangaroo, penguin, hippopotamus, sea lion and the like. You will visit the giant pandas and learn some common knowledge about animals. The giant panda area is fan-shaped, where an indoor exhibition area and an outside playground can be seen. You can watch the panda's every movement. According to your preference, your guide will recommend a place to eat, which could be a small local eatery or elegant cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, you will transfer to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town and admire its picturesque waterways, traditional houses and dozens of stone bridges.

Also known as the ‘Venice of Shanghai,’ Zhujiajiao is the best preserved of the four ancient water towns in the Shanghai area. With a history dating back over 1,700 years, Zhujiajiao is full of lovely canals and waterways, small alleys, picturesque bridges, and ancient buildings, many from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The best way to explore Zhujiajiao is on foot and by boat. We will stroll through 1,700 years of history on a leisurely boat tour of this delightful water town. Then, We will visit landmarks including Kezhi Garden, the Qing-period post office, the City God Temple and Yuanjin Temple. Zhujiajiao post office is the earliest post office in east China, which is the only well-preserved Qing dynasty post office in east China. Afterwards, enjoy comfortable transfer back to your hotel.
