Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo, you’ll be greeted by your friendly tour leader and transferred to your hotel. Your first stop is the charming coastal town of Negombo – one of Sri Lanka’s most popular beach destinations, renowned for its golden sands, fresh seafood, and vibrant atmosphere.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your beachside hotel — lounge by the pool, unwind on the sand, or simply enjoy the tropical surroundings. In the evening, take a peaceful walk along the seashore, soaking in the colorful sunset and the laid-back coastal vibe.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the island’s most treasured landmarks. Built by King Kasyapa (477–495 AD), this ancient citadel rises dramatically from the jungle and features intricate frescoes, royal gardens, and stunning panoramic views from the summit. Late afternoon is the perfect time to climb, as the golden hour bathes the landscape in magical light an unforgettable sight.

For early risers, an optional sunrise hike to Pidurangala Rock offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding jungle and the majestic Sigiriya Rock in the morning light a perfect opportunity for stunning photos and peaceful reflection.

After breakfast, travel to Polonnaruwa, the second ancient capital of Sri Lanka, where King Vijayabahu established his kingdom in 1070 AD. Exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site by bicycle is a magical way to connect with the island’s history, as you cycle past majestic ruins, ancient temples, statues, and reservoirs that reflect a golden age of Sri Lankan civilization.

In the afternoon, set off on 4x4 jeep safari at either Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park.

On your way to Kandy, stop to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple and Golden Buddha Statue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perched 160 meters above the plains, this is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Afterwards, experience a traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance, featuring vibrant costumes, rhythmic drumming, and dances inspired by Sri Lankan folklore and rituals.

Upon arrival in Kitulgala, gear up for an exhilarating White Water Rafting experience on the Kelani River. Surrounded by tropical rainforest and scenic hills, this river offers both excitement and serene natural beauty. The rafting activity is open to participants aged 10 and above and is conducted with full safety measures for a fun and secure experience.

Continue your adventure with a short trek to a natural rock pool, tucked deep in the jungle. Here, you’ll have the unique chance to slide down a 5-meter sloped waterfall a natural waterslide straight into a crystal-clear rock pool, all with proper safety gear and guidance.

Thereafter, you will visit the Peradeniya Royal Garden, which is known as one of the best botanical gardens in Asia.

As you wind through the mist-covered hills, stop at a working tea plantation and factory to witness firsthand the time-honored art of producing world-renowned Ceylon tea. Learn about the intricate process of plucking, drying, and grading, and finish your tour with a warm cup of freshly brewed tea a perfect way to savor the flavor of the region.

In the afternoon, enjoy some leisure time exploring Nuwara Eliya’s city center on foot. Highlights include the iconic red-brick Post Office, the historic Grand Hotel, and the serene Victoria Park. Stroll past colonial-era architecture, browse through local fruit and vegetable markets, and soak in the crisp mountain air and peaceful surroundings.

Board your train at Nanu Oya station for what is often called one of the most beautiful train rides in the world. As the train winds through misty mountains, lush tea plantations, and charming rural villages, you'll enjoy breathtaking views and countless photo opportunities. Upon arrival in Ella, take a leisurely walk through the laid-back village. Loved by travelers for its relaxed atmosphere and natural beauty, Ella is surrounded by forested hills, scenic tea estates, and charming viewpoints. Must-See Sights in Ella • Ravana Falls – A stunning waterfall named after the legendary king from the Ramayana epic. • Nine Arch Bridge – A remarkable feat of colonial-era engineering and a perfect photo spot, especially as trains pass across the iconic stone arches. • Mini Adam’s Peak – If you're feeling active, enjoy a short hike to the summit for panoramic views of Ella Gap and the surrounding valleys.

Early morning, set out on an unforgettable 4x4 jeep safari through Yala National Park.

Thereafter, you'll be heading towards beautiful seaside of the island. On the way to the beach, stop at the iconic Coconut Tree Hill in Mirissa a postcard-perfect spot where rows of palms overlook the turquoise ocean. This is one of the most Instagram-worthy locations in Sri Lanka, offering spectacular panoramic views and photo opportunities.

Upon arrival to the hotel, spend the rest of the day at your own pace. Relax on the golden sandy beach, sip a fresh coconut under the palms, or cool off with a swim.

On your way north, stop in Matara to witness the famous Sri Lankan stilt fishermen, a centuries-old fishing tradition unique to this coastal region. Perched gracefully on narrow poles planted in the shallow sea, they make for an iconic and photogenic scene.

Upon arrival in Galle, step into a bygone era as you walk through the historic Galle Fort. Originally built by the Portuguese and later fortified by the Dutch, this beautifully preserved fort boasts cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, boutique cafes, and art galleries all set against a backdrop of the Indian Ocean. Don't miss the iconic Galle Lighthouse, proudly standing at the southeastern edge of the fort.

Today you will spend relaxing on the beach. Enjoy the golden sunset, take a quiet stroll along the shoreline, or unwind at your resort with a refreshing drink and the sound of the waves.

On arrival in Colombo, embark on a sightseeing tour covering the city's most iconic attractions, including: Red Mosque – A striking architectural landmark in the heart of Pettah. Gangaramaya Temple – A blend of traditional and modern Buddhist architecture, rich in cultural and religious significance. Independence Memorial Hall – A historic site commemorating Sri Lanka’s independence from British rule. Modern city highlights – Including Galle Face Green, colonial buildings, and upscale shopping malls for last-minute souvenirs. Evening, you may enjoy a meal at one of Colombo’s internationally acclaimed restaurants the perfect way to toast the end of your journey with authentic Sri Lankan flavors or global cuisine in a stylish setting.
