La Jolla Cove is a small, sheltered inlet in San Diego, California. It's a popular beach for swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. The cove is also known for its access to the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park, a marine reserve.

Created by locals over a decade ago, Friends of Coast Walk Trail is a nonprofit organization solely operated and funded by community donations to restore and preserve the 0.6 mile trail along the bluffs of La Jolla coastline. Originally intended to be used as a road in the 1920s, Coast Walk Trail is deemed a “paper” street that is managed by San Diego’s Transportation Department. Designated as a historic asset in 1990, Coast Walk Trail is believed to have been used for over 9,000 years, collecting countless notable events throughout its presence. Boomer Beach, which is closed to public entry, is a great place to see sea lions, especially in the summer months during their birthing and breeding.

Popular with divers, this quaint beach houses permanent lifeguard stations, picnic tables & showers. Open green space along the coast offering panoramic ocean views, including seals & sunsets.

Great spot to chill and watch the sun set. Open clean beach with lots of tide pools. Some stairs to go down . When u get to the bottom of them , it goes right to big boulders to walk on to the beach.

Protected sandy cove home to many adult harbor seals & their pups, open for swimming in summer.
