Leshan Giant Buddha is known as "the mountain is a Buddha and the Buddha is a mountain". It is the largest cliffside stone carving statue in China and also the tallest ancient stone carved seated Maitreya Buddha statue in the world. Entering from the north gate, you will first see the stone carving of Su Dongpo's character "Buddha", then pass through the mountain gate and Lingyun Temple, and finally reach the river surface at the foot platform of the Buddha.
