You will visit the historic Palazzo dei Pappi (the Palace of the Popes) built in 1266 to house the Roman popes who escaped from Rome, when it became too dangerous. It is a place of a great historic value, where the first Conclave of history took place. You will visit the Conclave Hall, the Papal Loggia, the Gualterio Hall and Learn about the popes who lived there.

You will explore the main cathedral of Viterbo - Duomo di San Lorenzo. Located next to the Palace, this medieval church was built in 13th century, yet it was the place for coronation of some popes, elected in Viterbo.
