After picking you up from the airport or your hotel, we will explore Uyuni’s city and then stop at the historic train’s cemetery. Here, you will learn about the fascinating steam locomotive history in Bolivia while taking unique photos among the rusted giants.

Our next stop is the village of Colchani. You will see how locals process the salt and have the chance to browse beautiful salt-made handicrafts, a perfect introduction before entering the white desert.

A picturesque landscape unravels before your eyes, reminiscent of a vast pristine white canvas painted by nature itself. The mesmerizing salt flats, stretching over 10,000 square kilometers, offer an ethereal experience. The crystalline salt crust extends as far as the eye can see, under a seamless sky that seems to merge with the endless white horizon. Enjoy a nice and easy walk on Incahuasi Island, a surreal cactus oasis in the middle of the salt. From the top, you will have stunning 360-degree panoramic views of the entire salt flat. Please note: Access to the island is only available during the dry season for safety reasons. During the rainy season, when the salt flat is flooded, we will enjoy the mirror effect from a safe distance instead.

After enjoying a delicious and healthy breakfast, your adventure continues heading south into the vast realm of the Siloli Desert, a high-altitude wilderness of volcanic landscapes and colorful mountains. Within this desert, you will explore the unique Valley of Rocks, walking among giant stone structures sculpted by nature over millions of years. You will also encounter the famous Stone Tree, an intriguing volcanic rock formation that defies gravity and serves as a natural monument in the heart of this surreal landscape.

Continue to the vibrant Laguna Colorada, a glistening lake adorned with thousands of flamingos, highlighting the rich biodiversity of the region. For lunch, a stunning spot will be chosen near the lake, where you will enjoy delicious local food while watching these elegant birds in their natural habitat.
